The genre is shown on this contents page by having the same colours on the contents page as the front cover.By having a large image of a rock band shows that the magazine is a rock/pop genre.
All of the articles on the left hand side show artist and articles that link in with the genre and the contents page links in with the front page to help create a brand identity.
